Visualizing “Human” Resources
Many businesses are pressed to make challenging decisions to remain competitive and innovative in their markets. However, financial restrictions can often hold back progress, and companies are required to look internally rather than externally for new resources, approaches and ideas. Though many of these resources exist internally, they are often left untapped. This exercise in design thinking is a method we used to help participants, to uncover the “side skills” of coworkers, that already exist within an organization. Ultimately, these “side skills” can be leveraged to tackle complex problems in the workplace.
